I never thaught that we will witness such a difficult life during the lockdown in the wake of COVID-19 outbreak.I shot these picture in a Jhuggi near Bindal pur slum in Dehradun district of Uttrakhand. These families are experiencing the worst time ever in this pandemic period until they recieve food or any kind of rations from the government or any kind of organizations. The number of ragpickers in our country is estimated between 3 to 4 million and their contribution to economic activity is about 3200 crores Rs. And look out the irony that we offer them the poorest in society and treat them as untouchables. The future of these children is what?? to continue the legacy of their family to earn the money and to fulfill their basic necessities. These children are not left with any other option but to do this filthy, dangerous work. When I clicked these pictures, I was feeling mixed emotion inside me that is feeling both happy and sad at that particular time,
